I’m a CPA and an expert in accounting. I have over 25 years of business experience and have served as a CFO and Controller following early career experience in public accounting. I pride myself on being clear and to the point. I not only know how to do but I know how to teach. I have mentored colleagues and taught accounting to laymen who wanted to get a better understanding of the subject. I tutor undergraduate and graduate students as well as working adults in all sections of the CPA Exam. I also help working adults who need help to better perform in their jobs. Finally, I have tutored the children of friends in accounting and math subjects. I enjoy teaching and helping others to succeed.

In addition to accounting, I am strong in other subject areas involving technology and systems. I have strong skills in MS Excel, Word, and QuickBooks. I’m well versed in digital technology overall and can help in a wide range of disciplines.

I am an advanced user in MS Excel and QuickBooks. In Excel, I use pivot tables, advanced functions and formulas, charts and graphs, and vlookup. My expert proficiency has enabled me to analyze data quickly and deliver business intelligence in support of operational and strategic decision making.

I am a QuickBooks Certified Pro Advisor. I have used QuickBooks throughout my professional career and know its “ins” and “outs”. It is an outstanding program for small and medium sized companies where I have spent virtually my entire career. I tutor QuickBooks Online in addition to QuickBooks Desktop Pro and QuickBooks Enterprise.
